About the bill
FAQ01What exactly is a connected account?
One mailbox, calendar or address book a user has linked. A user who links both Gmail and their Google Calendar is two accounts. Accounts that are connected, syncing, needing attention or paused all count; a disconnected one does not, and nothing in sandbox ever does.
02Do you charge per message?
No. Sends, receives, webhook deliveries, retries and replays are not metered on any plan. Your bill has two numbers on it: connected accounts and API calls.
03What counts as an API call?
A request you make to the REST API. Receiving a webhook is not a call — we sent that to you. The allowances are set so that a product doing ordinary work never reaches them; if you are in sight of one, that usually means a polling loop that a webhook would replace.
04What happens if I go over the account limit?
Nothing breaks. Accounts over the included count are billed at the plan's per-account rate and the dashboard shows the overage as it accrues. If that rate makes a bigger plan cheaper, the dashboard says so — we would rather move you up a tier than bill you an overage you did not expect.
05Is there a free trial?
The Free plan is not a trial; it does not expire. One connected account, every provider, and webhooks. It is enough to build the whole integration and decide before you pay for anything.
06Can I scope a key so a pilot cannot send?
Yes, on every paid plan. A key can be restricted to a subset of the API, so a read-only key for a pilot or a partner is a one-line change rather than a trust exercise. How key scopes work.
07Do you offer annual billing?
Yes, at roughly two months off: Starter is $24 a month, Growth $82 and Scale $332 when billed annually. Account overages still bill monthly, at the same rate.
08What does Enterprise actually add?
A single-tenant deployment in your own region or VPC, unlimited accounts, a custom SLA, a named engineer, and the procurement work — security review, DPA, vendor questionnaire. If your blocker is where the data sits rather than what the API does, that is the plan.
